How to make payment?

MAKEOVER supports MOLPay Gateway. It is currently the best, safest and award-winning online payment gateway that facilitates online merchants or e-commerce merchants’ online store in Malaysia to process online transactions in Ringgit Malaysia currency (MYR) in large extent and securely. You will only see the payment page after clicked ‘check out’ button. MOLPay accepts comprehensive of Online Payment Options such as credit card, debit card, and Internet banking.

What if I can’t make payment online?

You can choose “Manual Transfer” when you check out. Then, send an email to enquiry@makeover.asia to inform regarding your successful payment. Payment details must be provided along with order ID.

SHIPPING

How much is my delivery fees?

MAKEOVER charges only RM7.00 per purchase for a single consignee for West Malaysia and RM15 for East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak).

  • For West Malaysia: 1st kilogram is RM7 and subsequence kilogram is RM1.50
  • For East Malaysia: 1st kilogram is RM15 and subsequence kilogram is RM13

When will I receive my purchase?

You will be able to receive your purchase within:

  • Metro Area: 1 to 7 working days
  • Non-Metro Area: 3 to 10 working days
  • (Exclude weekends and public holidays)

However, we are unable to guarantee that all orders will be delivered within the stipulated time frame. Our aim is to have your items shipped out from our warehouse as fast as possible except for some circumstances where unfortunately it is beyond our control for example courier service delays, emergency, or items out of stock.

Am I entitled to free delivery?

West Malaysia – With minimum purchase of RM100 in a single order.

East Malaysia – With minimum purchase of RM200 in a single order.

Can I self-collect?

Self-collect is allowed. Please collect your order from MAKEOVER Office, located in Kuala Lumpur, from Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 6.00pm. Address as shown below:

CANCELLATION POLICY

Before cancelling an order, please read and understand the following terms and conditions:

  • Cancellation is not guaranteed and subject to approval.
  • Order could not be restored after order cancellation.
  • The refund amount will be the net amount paid by you and will not include any voucher amount or bank charges.
  • MAKEOVER also reserves the right to cancel an order if fraud is suspected.
  • We will process your request and send you a confirmation whether the request has been approved within seven (7) working days.

RETURN POLICY

If you are not satisfied with your purchase (damaged during shipment or wrong item/type/shade/etc), you can send it back to us.

  • Returns must be made within 14 days from date of purchase.
  • Damaged items must be returned together with their original box and receipt.
  • Items bought during promotional events (e.g. Anniversary, MyCyberSale or X’MAS) are not eligible for return and exchange.

Kindly inform Customer Service before returning the item otherwise the request will not be processed. Your return item will be assigned to a courier of our choosing. Please provide the return parcel tracking number for all items.

What will I get back after returning the item(s)?

If the same purchased item is available in stock, MAKEOVER will re-deliver the item to you (postage will bear by us), otherwise will make full refund (does not include postage) to your bank account within 7 working days.

How can I return my purchase?

Kindly drop us an email to enquiry@makeover.asia with the subject “Return Item [MO Account Name]”. We will assist you as soon as possible.

Please allow 7 working days for your enquiry to be processed.

To make the process smoother and faster, do email your enquiry with picture(s) of your item(s) & its condition and your order details for record purpose.

How long will it take to receive my refund/new item(s)?

Please allow a minimum of 14 working days from the date we receive your return package.

Refund will be based on customer actual paid – Final payment to refund (does not include postage), voucher cannot be changed into cash term.

How do I return an item?

We want you to absolutely love your MAKEOVER purchase. If you’d like to return or exchange an item, we will do everything we can (within valid reasons) on this journey to gorgeousness together!

For which reasons can I return an item?

You may want to return your item due to any of the following reasons:

Damaged The product was damaged when you received it (Please notify MAKEOVER within 24 hours)
Defective The product does not function as described in its manufacturer specification.
Incorrect/wrong item The product is different from what you ordered (e.g. wrong size or wrong colour).
Missing items/parts Missing items/parts as indicated on the product package.

EXCHANGE POLICY

Who is responsible for exchange shipping fee?

Responsible party to bear shipping cost depends on the reason of your ‘Exchange’ request. If you requested ‘Exchange’ due to damaged, faulty or wrong product, return postage will bear by customer, re-deliver new item postage is on MAKEOVER.

Safety First : Introducing Number Masking

MAKEOVER takes the safety of our users very seriously. To ensure safety on our platform, we will be running a beta test on consumer and artist’s phone number masking. Upon a successful booking, your number will be masked to the other party.

However, if you face difficulties in contacting your consumer/artist, kindly be patient and use MOchat as an alternative. Do report your issue to our Help Center / CS so that we are able to get down to the root cause of the issue. We appreciate your support as we work our best to provide the safest MAKEOVER service in Malaysia.

How to protect yourself?

In order to guarantee the professionalism, we have undergone a review test and approved the qualified MAKEOVER Artists in terms of their service skills and personal attitudes. Besides that, for the sake of your safety, you may also refer to the safety advises as below:-

  • Protect your personal information. There’s no need to share your phone number or other contact information with your Artist. If a customer and Artist need to contact each other, the MAKEOVER app automatically anonymizes both phone numbers to protect everyone’s privacy.
  • Follow your intuition. Trust your instincts and use your best judgment when services with MAKEOVER Artist. And if you ever feel you’re in an emergency situation, call 999 immediately.
  • Be kind and respectful. As outlined in our community guidelines, please respect your MAKEOVER Artist and his or her stuff.
  • Give feedback on your booking. Your feedback is important to help us improve the MAKEOVER Artist professionalism for everyone. Our 24/7 team reviews feedback and will follow up with appropriate action on any reports of conduct that violate our community guidelines.
  • Strongly advise: DO NOT expose your valuable things during the ongoing service. We shall not be held liable to and shall not accept any liability, obligation or responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on such claims.

 

Before the service

MAKEOVER system will send you the Artist’s ID for security confirmation before you allow anyone to enter your premise.

During the service

Stay alert throughout the ongoing service. You may share your service details with loved ones. In Malaysia, we also have PDRM’s Support with an in-app alert button to inform police immediately of any dire situations.

After Service

Check your belongings before the departure of the Artist. Our customer care is available from Monday to Friday (9am – 6pm), except public holidays, so call us and you’d reach our friendly customer support, anytime. We want to ensure you are cared for at every step of the way- even before and after your service. Your feedback is important to us too. Let us know if you have any concerns through our customer support as you get to speak to someone in your country at any time. Artist ratings are also important for us to improve our service, so do remember to rate them after your service.

The amount paid after deducting finance and other applicable charges will be refunded within 7 working days after approval.
